Mesut Ozil Not Getting The Deserved Credit At Arsenal.

     Pix above Mesut Ozil missed Arsenal match away to Bournemouth on the 3rd of January due to illness which has kept him out for two consecutive matches. Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger went on to state the Ozil will miss more matches including FA Cup against Preston.


Ozil 28 has not really gotten the credit he deserves putting on Arsenal shirt since his move from Real Madrid to Arsenal. The truth need be told, Ozil has improved a lot in all his games at Arsenal from his first season to date, his presence on the pitch always guarantees creativity which either directly or indirectly from him will result in a goal, yet British press would not show some respect to him.

 Ozil who has scored 5 goals so far this season with 3 assist in the premier league and has the credit of most chance created in the English top league is unfairly being criticized. Arsenal last two matches with Ozil absent in the team saw Arsenal struggle to create any meaningful chance, the last against Bournemouth saw Arsenal down to 2-0 by half  time. The struggle of this nature show the true importance of Mesut Ozil in the team. This should give British football press some short up and note how influential  Ozil is to Arsene

The good thing about it all is that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has not lost faith with his creative genius even in the midst of intense criticisms from the press. Ozil absence will remain a worry to Arsenal boss as to how his team will fare in the absence of creativeness in the heart of his Midfield and will be hopping for Ozil's return as soon as possible to help Arsenal keep run of good form for the remainder of the season and secure Champions league spot.
