Know More About Michelle Obama.
1. She was born on January 17,1964, in Chicago, Illinois to Fraser Robinson the third and Marian Shield Robinson.
2. She is of African origin as a trace research shows that Robinson and Shield families has their roots attached to Africa via the slave trade on friendfield plantation in South Carolina and some of the Robinson family still stays there.
3. She was raised in what she called "conventional home " with the mother alway at home while the father works.
4. She is an emotional personality, which she took to after seeing her Dad suffer multiple sclerosis and was determined to stay out of trouble and be a good student, which according to her was what her father wanted.
5. She attended street primary school, after her sixth grade, Michelle joined a gifted class at bryn Mawr Elementary school. She went to Whitney Young High School, and attended Princeton University where she graduated in 1983.
6. After her graduation in 1983, she became a basketball coach at Oregon State University and Brown University.
7. She is the third first lady with a postgraduate degree after Hillary Clinton and Laura Bush.

She met Obama when they were among the few African Americans at their law firm, the relationship started with a business lunch and then a community organization meeting where he first impressed her. Their first date was to the Spike Lee movie -Do the Right Thing. They finally married in October 1992 , and have two daughters , Malia Ann (1998) and Natasha (2001).
9. She played major roles in her husband triumph in the 1997-1998 US presidential election and again in 2012 ,as she was very popular in the States.
10. She is a devoted Christian, she was raised in United Methodist Church and joined the Trinity United Church of Christ, where she and Barack Obama married, performed by Jeremiah Wright. Of recent, they do worship at At. John's Episcopal Church.
