NIGERIA ELECTION THE PREGNANT MOTHER

Nigeria general election the pregnant mother. It's less than two months to the election and things are getting more and more hot as the day goes by. The two major political parties; Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressive Congress (APC) are believed to be the favorites and they have massive supports from the teaming estimated twenty plus million Nigerians all over the country irrespective of the fact that none of the two candidates representing these two major political parties are deemed credible nor competent with regards to evidence on ground.

The mind disturbing question is, has there been elections in Nigeria before now or has it always been selection and ceasing of power when we try to look into the real definition of election in any scenario. What ever the forms it has taken before now and they form it will take now, one thing is for sure, a ruler must get in there to oversee the affairs of Nigeria in the next four years. Interestingly, with not up to two months to the presidential election, the ruling party APC are not involving in any serious presidential campaign and this I think will be a solid reason to think about the 2019 Nigerian election as the pregnant one.

One of the standard ways to go about elections is through debates and campaigns to tell the people what good the flag bearer will bring to the table in the next four years ,this even makes it entertaining as it becomes a competition, which gives the masses the avenue to choose who they think has convinced them enough to vote for. Irrespective of the lack of routine campaigns and more, this jealous question will not leave my taught, do we really have a candidate to vote come the presidential election..   The answer for some people who do not know much about Nigerian will be YES!   Going by the  fact that we have listed names of aspirants in numbers. But one who knows much about  Nigeria will hesitate to answer the question, because the answer is already known.

The challenging problem is not to cast our votes nor to our votes being counted and be used to determine the fate of the election  but is the safety challenge that we will face during the elections and probably after the elections. One may ask, do we really have to vote with such high degree of insecurity in the country at the moment, coupled with the fact that the two major political parties has been talking tough on winning or losing the election. Implicating that whether a loss or win for each party and presidential candidate, is not certain of peace. So, do we ignore the voting........

We all did our permanent voter cards in quote and wants to get it right during voting, so, will changing of opinion not to vote now an  option.....  Confusing I think, but not if you  really we know what is the best way to handle the tougher things.  Why not pray to God and commit the 2019 elections into his hands. He is the only one person who can do all.
You have prayed a lot for yourself, family members, friends but not the name Nigeria. Today, make it a prayer point and see God do what only him can do and so we will not only see but will have sustained better Nigeria.
